No hay nada mejor que organizar escapadas rurales!!! Casas, hoteles y alojamientos rurales hay miles y de todos los estilos imaginables, entre todos ellos os he seleccionado cinco que encajan perfectamente con la temática de hoy: el Agro Chic, que se caracteriza por combinar lo rústico, campestre y natural con toques únicos de estilo… así que…

• Si is gusta el turismo más rural, pero buscáis “darle una vuelta“ y no os conformáis con los hoteles al uso…

5 escapadas Agro Chic por España para esta primavera 

 

1. Ayllón (Segovia) y el encantador Hotel Ayllón

Al nordeste de la provincia de Segovia, colindando casi con Soria, se encuentra uno de los pueblos más bonitos de España (ojo! que no lo digo yo, que lo dice la Asociación de los pueblos más bonitos de España que lo tiene incluido en su lista), caracterizado por su estilo medieval y su pintoresca Plaza Mayor con soportales. Le atraviesa el Río Aguisejo, que nace en la Sierra de Ayllón, dividiéndolo en dos zonas: la parte nueva y el casco histórico, discurriendo de manera paralela a su muralla medieval.  Su arco medieval de entrada a la parte antigua me recuerda mucho al de Tarifa, y su Plaza Mayor se llena de animadas terrazas en las que tomar algo y disfrutar del solecito. Subiendo sus cuestas hacia arriba, podréis disfrutar de unas vistas increíbles del pueblo y la meseta que le rodea.

 

Otro de los principales atractivos de Ayllón son el Paseo de las Bodegas, un conjunto de cuevas excavadas en las rocas que se llenan de hogueras y barbacoas a principios de Marzo en la noche de Jueveslardero, antes del Miércoles de ceniza… y la Feria Medieval, que se celebra a finales de Julio y en la que se organizan diferentes actividades y conciertos.

 

Pero, entrando en el tema alojamientos, dejadme que os hable de uno que para mí destaca especialmente: el Hotel Ayllón, un hotel boutique con mucho encanto construido en una casa segoviana preciosa y que en su interior destaca por su decoración de estilo entre nórdico y rústico… me quedo sin adjetivos para definirlo: pequeño y acogedor, detallista, especial, un hotel rural pero totalmente actual… y justo en en el centro del pueblo, en plena Plaza Mayor.

 

Para aumentar aún si cabe aún más su atractivo tenemos su restaurante El Patio, con un ambiente y oferta gastronómica espectacular. Una escapada ideal en un pueblo precioso, por 85€ la noche.

 

 

2. Gallipienzo (Navarra) y la Heredad Beragu

A 55 kms. de Pamplona y situado en lo alto de un monte, el pueblecito de Gallipienzo se alza sobre el Río Aragón que discurre a sus pies y se compone de caseríos y bonitos edificios de piedra, entre los que destacan su puente románico y los restos de un antiguo castillo. El lugar es conocido por su observatorio de aves, y también por ser un observatorio de estrellas perfecto, ya que la contaminación lumínica apenas le ha llegado. Su increíble mirador ofrece una panorámica de 360 grados con vistas al Río Aragón, los Pirineos o la localidad de Sangüesa. Lo mejor es deambular y subir sus empinadas cuestas o incluso aventurarse a hacer algunas de sus rutas de senderismo, además de hacer un poco de turisteo viendo sus principales monumentos: especialmente las Iglesias de San Salvador y San Pedro.

 

Sin ningún lugar a dudas, la Heredad Beragú es otro de los grandes atractivos de este lugar. En un enclave maravilloso, con un servicio y trato inigualables, una decoración espectacular… lo tiene todo para ser un oasis de paz, disfrute y desconexión para una escapada. Un lugar muy cálido y mágico en el que os van a sorprender tanto sus desayunos como la comida y las cenas que preparan… además de sus habitaciones con vistas al río o a las montañas. Sus dueños, Patxi y Ramón, os harán sentir como en casa! Su precio: 90€ la noche.

 

 

3. Navaluenga (Ávila) y El Hotelito

Navaluenga es un pueblecito de Ávila justo en el lugar en el que el Río Alberche empieza a entrar en el Embalse del Burguillo, y esto hace que su entorno sea muy rural y natural: rodeado de pinares, huertos, encinas, prados… y con unas piscinas naturales alrededor de su puente romano. Dicen que es uno de los municipios abultases que más gente atrae con la llegada del calor,  y permite disfrutar de bonitos paseos tanto en su interior: con la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Villares, la Ermita de San Isidro o sus bodegas como de los alrededores. Además, su cercanía a otras localidades como El Tiemblo o El Barco de Ávila también hacen de Navaluenga un lugar estratégico para una buena escapada.

 

Y si hablamos de Navaluenga, entonces tenemos que mencionar El Hotelito, uno de los más claros referentes del estilo Agro Chic, enclavado a orillas Del Río Alberche. Este pequeño establecimiento de tres estrellas es el lugar ideal para romper con el estrés de la ciudad, relajarse y mirar las estrellas. Sus 12 habitaciones cuentan con grandes ventanas de suelo a techo que multiplican las vistas y están decoradas con muchísimo gusto y detalle, combinando la madera y el cuero con alfombras étnicas y sillas de rattán. En El Hotelito se organizan todo tipo de actividades, desde paseos en bicicleta o a caballo hasta talleres de fotografía o coaching… y lo mejor es disfrutar de su salón con chimenea o de su precioso restaurante a la hora de la cena.  El precio de la habitación doble es de 115€.

 

 

4. Brihuega (Guadalajara) y el Hotel Spa Niwa

Junto al valle del Río Tajuña, rodeada de huertas y jardines, Brihuega destaca por su villa amurallada y un casco antiguo en el que encontramos templos como Santa María de la Peña, San Miguel o San Felipe y otros edificios como el del Ayuntamiento o la Real Fábrica de Paños. Pero también por sus rutas de senderismo y multitud de actividades para entrar en contacto con la naturaleza… o su buena gastronomía y productos de la tierra, que podréis encontrar por ejemplo en la tiendecita de productos artesanales La Flor de Brihuega, situada en la Calle Camilo Jose Cela. 

 

Pero quizá uno de sus mayores atractivos sea poder disfrutar de sus impresionantes campos de lavanda como si estuviésemos en plena Provenza francesa. La zona, conocida como El Jardín de la Alcarria, es el lugar en el que se celebra el Festival de la Lavanda y una zona ideal para pasear, hacer un picnic o simplemente ver las estrellas rodeados de un paisaje impresionante en tonos morados. ¿Lo mejor? Poder disfrutar de esta vista desde el aire, tanto en globo como en parapente.

 

 

Para dormir en Brihuega, os recomiendo el Hotel Spa Niwa, un hotel con encanto  enfocado desde la idea de lo saludable y la filosofía oriental. El alojamiento se ha concebido desde la filosofía del ying y el yang, jugando mucho con el contraste entre el blanco y el negro y el uso de la luz. El hotel tiene dos jardines: uno interior y otro exterior, un patio inglés donde se sirven los desayunos y varios salones, además de diez habitaciones (cuatro de ellas abuhardilladas) y un estupendo spa. Ideal para una desconexión total y para disfrutar de la tranquilidad. Unos 140€ la noche.

 

 

5. Villanueva de la Vera (Valle del Tiétar, Cáceres) y el Hotel Llano Tineo

La Vera, al noroeste de Cáceres, es una zona en la que el agua es protagonista: el río Tietar hace que abunden las gargantas, las charcas, riachuelos, cascadas… Villanueva de la Vera es uno de los pueblecitos del entorno declarado Conjunto Histórico de Interés Cultural en el que destacan sus características casas de madera y en sus afueras, en la confluencia entre Madrigal y Villanueva de la Vera se encuentra la famosa Cascada o Garganta del Diablo (en realidad Garganta de Gualtaminos), ideal para refrescarse y darse un balo en mitad de la naturaleza especialmente en primavera, cuando la nieve comienza a derretirse y el agua baja con más fuerza. Pero tampoco os olvidéis de ver los cerezos en flor de la zona ni de visitar el Parque Natural del Monfragüe o el Monasterio de Yuste que están en los alrededores.

 

El Hotel Restaurante Llano Tineo  es uno de los más bonitos de la zona, y destaca tanto por su conocido restaurante que fusiona las cocinas vasca y extremeña como por su patio y zonas comunes o sus 10 habitaciones diferentes unas de las otras donde relajarse y descansar. No está en pleno centro, sino a unos 3 kilómetros de éste, y eso le permite tener unas vistas despejadas de las Montañas de Gredos y aumentar la sensación de tranquilidad. Un lugar muy acogedor en el que destacan los desayunos con bizcochos recién hechos y la especial atención de sus dueños. 89€ la noche

5 Agro Chic getaways for Spain this spring

 

1. Ayllón (Segovia) and the lovely Hotel Ayllón

To the northeast of the province of Segovia, bordering almost with Soria, is one of the most beautiful villages in Spain (hey! I do not say it, which is said by the Association of the most beautiful villages in Spain that has it included in its List), characterized by its medieval style and its picturesque Plaza Mayor with arcades. It crosses the River Aguisejo, that is born in the Mountain range of Ayllón, dividing it in two zones: the new part and the historical helmet, running parallel to its medieval wall. Its medieval arc of entrance to the old part reminds me a lot of Tarifa, and its Plaza Mayor is full of lively terraces where you can have a drink and enjoy the sunset. Climbing your slopes up, you can enjoy incredible views of the village and the surrounding plateau.

 

Another of the main attractions of Ayllón are the Walk of the Wineries, a group of caves dug in the rocks that are filled with bonfires and barbecues in early March on the Thursday night, before Ash Wednesday … and the Fair Medieval, which is held at the end of July and which organizes different activities and concerts.

 

 

But, speaking of of accommodation, let me tell you about one that stands out for me especially: the Hotel Ayllón, a boutique hotel with a lot of charm built in a beautiful Segovian house and that in its interior stands out for its decoration of style between nordic and rustic … I am without adjectives to define it: small and cozy, detailed, special, a rural hotel but totally current … and right in the center of town, in the main square.

2. Gallipienzo (Navarra) and Heredad Beragu

The place is known for its bird observatory, and also for being a perfect observatory of stars, since the light pollution has scarcely arrived to him. Its incredible viewpoint offers a panoramic view of 360 degrees overlooking the River Aragon, the Pyrenees or the town of Sangüesa. It is best to wander and climb its steep slopes or even venture to do some of its hiking routes, in addition to doing a bit of turisteo seeing its main monuments: especially the Churches of San Salvador and San Pedro.

In a wonderful enclave, with unparalleled service and treatment, spectacular decoration … it has everything to be an oasis of peace, enjoyment and disconnection for a getaway. A very warm and magical place where you will be surprised both your breakfasts and the food and the dinners they prepare … in addition to their rooms overlooking the river or the mountains. 3. Navaluenga (Ávila) and El Hotelito

Navaluenga is a small village in Avila right on the spot where the Alberche River begins to enter the Burguillo Reservoir, and this makes its surroundings very rural and natural: surrounded by pine groves, orchards, oaks, meadows … With natural pools around its Roman bridge. They say that it is one of the abultases municipalities that attract more people with the arrival of the heat, and allows to enjoy beautiful walks both inside: with the Church of Our Lady of the Villares, the Hermitage of San Isidro or its cellars as of the surroundings. In addition, its proximity to other locations such as El Tiemblo or El Barco de Avila also make Navaluenga a strategic place for a good getaway.

 

And if we talk about Navaluenga, then we have to mention El Hotelito, one of the clearest referents of the Agro Chic style, nestled on the banks of the Rio Alberche. This small three star establishment is the ideal place to break the stress of the city, relax and look at the stars. But also for its hiking routes and a multitude of activities to get in touch with nature … or its good gastronomy and produce of the land, which you can find for example in the shop of artisan products La Flor de Brihuega, located in Camilo Jose Cela street.

 

 

But perhaps one of its greatest attractions is being able to enjoy its impressive lavender fields as if we were in the middle of Provence. The area, known as The Garden of the Alcarria, is the place where the Lavender Festival is held and an ideal area to stroll, picnic or simply see the stars surrounded by an impressive landscape in purple tones. The best? You can enjoy this view from the air, both in balloon and in paragliding.

 

 

For sleeping in Brihuega I recommend the Hotel Spa Niwa, a charming hotel focused on the idea of healthy and oriental philosophy. The accommodation has been conceived from the philosophy of ying and yang, playing a lot with the contrast between white and black and the use of light. The hotel has two gardens: one indoor and one outdoor, an English courtyard where breakfasts and several lounges are served, as well as ten rooms (four of which are attic rooms) and a great spa. Ideal for a total disconnection and to enjoy the tranquility. About 140 € per night.

 

 

 

5. Villanueva de la Vera (Tietar Valley, Cáceres) and Llano Tineo Hotel

La Vera, to the northwest of Cáceres, is an area where water is the protagonist: the Tietar river makes the gorges, ponds, streams, waterfalls abound … Villanueva de la Vera is one of the villages declared Historical of Cultural Interest in which they emphasize their characteristic wooden houses and in its outskirts, in the confluence between Madrigal and Villanueva de la Vera is the famous Throat of the Devil (in fact Throat of Gualtaminos), ideal to refresh and to give itself a bath in the middle of nature especially in spring, when the snow begins to melt and the water goes down harder. But do not forget to see the cherry blossoms of the area or to visit the Natural Park of Monfragüe or the Monastery of Yuste that are in the vicinity.

 

 

The Hotel Restaurante Llano Tineo is one of the most beautiful in the area, and stands out both for its well-known restaurant that fuses the Basque and Extremaduran cuisines as well as for its patio and common areas or its 10 different rooms of each other where to relax and rest. It is not in the center, but about 3 kilometers from it, and that allows you to have a clear view of the Gredos Mountains and increase the feeling of tranquility. A very cozy place in which they emphasize the breakfasts with freshly made biscuits and the special attention of their owners. 89 € per night
