“Algunos escriben su vida en hojas… yo la escribo en imágenes“

De todas las Redes Sociales, Instagram es con diferencia mi preferida. No os voy a contar aquí todas mis reflexiones al respecto, pero me fascina la manera en la que inmortaliza momentos y me parece que ha cambiado la manera en la que vemos el Mundo. Y no, no estoy hablando de los filtros, el postureo o el afán casi obsesivo por mostrar una realidad idílica e impostada, sino de que, en mi caso particular, me ha ido enseñando casi sin darme cuenta lo importante que son las imágenes y su calidad. Creo que ahora mi mente trabaja de manera mucho más visual, y esto también se ha trasladado en cierta manera a la forma en la que viajo… e incluso a este blog.

Aunque tengo dos cuentas diferentes, la mía personal en la que muestro mis pequeños momentos del día y la de TrippingBites, más focalizada en viajes, creo que al final en ambas se manifiesta mi gran pasión por viajar y descubrir nuevos destinos… y otra cosa buena de Instagram es que te permite encontrar otras personas en el mundo con tus mismos intereses y pasiones. Así, supongo que a través de complejas conexiones y logaritmos internos de la aplicación, he podido descubrir cuentas muy interesantes como las que os trago hoy en el post. He seleccionado 5 cuentas que retratan el mundo sin ceñirse a una localización específica, ya que más adelante me gustaría hablaros de algunos instagramers más especializados por destinos concretos e incluso hacer otro post con los instagramers viajeros españoles más interesantes. @Passionpassport,  “We live to to tell impactful stories about travel“

Passion Passport es una comunidad (e incluso yo la llamaría pandilla) de viajeros, fotógrafos y storytellers caracterizados por una gran dosis de curiosidad cuyo objetivo inspirar y contagiar la pasión de viajar. En su perfil, su lema es “we live to Tell impactful stories about travel“ y en estos momentos cuentan con casi 900.000 seguidores en todo el Mundo. Esta comunidad nace en 2012 y muestra rincones de todo el planeta acompañados de reflexiones e historias, es una especie de narración de las experiencias de cada viajero, y su creador, Zach Glassman, abandonó su prometedora carrera en el mundo de las finanzas para descubrir el Mundo (por cierto, si queréis seguirle también, su cuenta es increíble:  @zachpassport y su web http://www.zachpassport.com). Cada 3 meses, celebran el Bucket List, permitiendo a un miembro de la comunidad viajar a un destino de ensueño de su elección, etiquetando tus recuerdos de viaje con #passionpassport y participando en sus desafíos. Aparecen en la lista Forbes entre los 10 mejores travel influencers de 2017 y han ganado dos veces el premio al mejor blog de viajes por #SATW, han viajado por los 7 continentes y han visitado 105 ciudades del Mundo… creo que son credenciales más que suficientes para seguir a Dave y Deb, una pareja de viajeros que componen su feed con imágenes espectaculares de colores muy intensos de todo el planeta. La pareja empezó su viaje en 2008 y desde entonces siguen recorriendo todo el mundo… ¿dónde hay que firmar?

 

 

@garypeppergirl “Dreamers, they never learn, to the point of no return“

Podemos decir que esta cuenta combina dos cosas que me gustan bastante: moda y piezas vintage con una fotografía es-pec-ta-cu-lar y muy artística de diferentes lugares del Mundo. Nicole Warme, su creadora, es una it girl coreana residente en Australia que inició en el año 2009 su blog  garypeppergirl.com, sumando y sumando cada vez más seguidores en Instagram. Pero más allá de manejarse en el mundo de la moda, sabe documentar como nadie sus viajes alrededor del Mundo y tiene un don especial en plasmar una belleza inigualable en cada sitio que visita, así que podríamos decir que se trata de una cuenta de viajes puro glamour.

Más de una vez os he comentado lo fan que soy de las fotografías de National Geographic… pues esta cuenta, para mi gran disfrute,  está formada por un grupo de fotógrafos de National Geographic que comparten su excepcionales imágenes (o vídeos)  y miradas del Mundo con todos sus seguidores. Animales, paisajes, personas, objetos… todo muestra una historia y una emoción con una altísima calidad. En su blog www.thephotosociety.org, además, publican todos sus trabajos y la información de los fotógrafos que colaboran en el proyecto.

Esta podemos decir que es otra de las cuentas que para una yonki de los viajes como yo supone un disfrute y una tortura a partes iguales… cada foto que sube no hace más que tentarte a coger un vuelo lo más lejos posible y su creadora, Suzanne Brunch demuestra en cada post su entusiasmo por la fotografía y los viajes. A día de hoy cuenta con más de 10 millones de seguidores y es una de las cuentas imprescindibles en las redes sociales.

“Some write their life in sheets … I write it in pictures“

Of all Social Networks, Instagram is by far my favorite. I am not going to tell you all my reflections here, but I am fascinated by the way in which it immortalizes moments and it seems to me that the way in which we see the World has changed. And no, I’m not talking about the filters, the posturing or the almost obsessive desire to show an idyllic and false reality, but that, in my particular case, I have been teaching almost without realizing how important are the images and their quality. I think now my mind works in a much more visual way, and this has also moved in a certain way to the way I travel … and even to this blog.

Although I have two different accounts, my personal one in which I show my little moments of the day and TrippingBites, more focused on travel, I believe that in the end both of them manifest my great passion to travel and discover new destinations … and another Instagram’s good thing is that it allows you to find other people in the world with your same interests and passions. So, I suppose that through complex connections and internal logarithms of the application, I have been able to discover very interesting accounts like the ones I have today. I have selected 5 accounts that portray the world without sticking to a specific location, since later I would like to tell you about some more specialized instagramers for specific destinations and even make another post with the most interesting Spanish travel instagramers. Passion Passport is a community (and I would even call it a gang) of travelers, photographers and storytellers characterized by a large dose of curiosity whose goal is to inspire and spread the passion of traveling. In his profile, his motto is «we live to Tell impactful stories about travel» and at the moment they have almost 900,000 followers around the world. This community was born in 2012 and shows corners of the entire planet accompanied by reflections and stories, it is a kind of narration of the experiences of each traveler, and its creator, Zach Glassman, abandoned his promising career in the world of finance to discover the World (by the way, if you want to follow him too, his account is also amazing: @zachpassport and his website http://www.zachpassport.com). This we can say that it is another account that for a junkie of travel as I suppose an equal enjoyment and torture … every photo that goes up does not do more than to tempt you to take a flight as far as possible and its creator , Suzanne Brunch demonstrates in each post her enthusiasm for photography and travel. Today it has more than 10 million followers and is one of the essential accounts in social networks.
