Desde hace un tiempo, Airbnb saca a primeros de año sus propias predicciones sobre cuáles van a ser los destinos de moda en función del crecimiento en el número de reservas en sus alojamientos. En 2020, basándose en datos internos resultantes de comparar las reservas realizadas para este año vs. 2019 y 2018, han concluido que los destinos con mayor demanda serán ciudades menos conocidas y con una mayor conciencia ecológica, y han elaborado una lista con un total de 20 de ellas. Me ha hecho mucha ilusión que una ciudad española, Bilbao, se encuentre entre los 5 primeros.
Me parece un indicador bastante certero de cómo van evolucionando las cosas en lo que a turismo se refiere, y también un buen empuje de inspiración para quienes estéis pensando próximos destinos para este año, ¿queréis conocer las 5 más importantes? Pues vamos con ello, esta semana…
Top 5 destinos que serán tendencia en 2020 según Airbnb y alojamientos por menos de 100$ para disfrutarlos
1. Milwaukee
Con un 729% de crecimiento en reservas, esta ciudad que en 2020 será sede de la Convención Nacional Democrática tiene como principales atractivos el estar en plena orilla del Lago Michigan, su animada oferta de tiendas, cantinas y restaurantes, el museo Harley-Davidson o festivales como el Henry Maier Festival Park. Su barrio a las orillas del lago (Bay View) se ha transformado en un refugio hipster en el que disfrutar de restaurantes de moda.
