A veces hay que detenerse un poco, desacelerar el ritmo y simplemente observar qué sucede en nuestro interior. He de reconocer que a mí esto de la introspección me cuesta un poco en el día a día, pero sin embargo es algo que me sale de manera natural y espontánea cuando viajo, ante un paisaje por ejemplo. Me detengo en las sensaciones que me produce, en un estado de calma y bienestar en el que de repente un flujo invisible te conecta con la naturaleza, el mundo y su energía.
Hay ciertos lugares en el Mundo que animan a la auto reflexión y al misticismo… algunos por sin historia, otros por sus connotaciones religiosas, y otros simplemente por su serena belleza, pero todos irradian una energía invisible magnética y enigmática dejando una huella interna en el visitante para siempre.

1. Stonehenge, Reino Unido
Esta famosa construcción megalítica del condado de Wiltshire, en Reino Unido, es uno de los más conocidos centros energéticos conocidos en el planeta. Los expertos afirman que su círculo está atravesado por un potente flujo de energía, el llamado vórtex, que lo eleva a la categoría de lugar sagrado y permite recargar al visitante de una gran paz y espiritualidad. 3. Luxor, Egipto
El Valle de los Reyes en Luxor es conocido por ser la gran necrópolis del Antiguo Egipto. Aquí yacen 62 tumbas de los más renombrados faraones: Tutankhamun, Ramsés, Merneptah… recorrer sus túneles excavados en la roca de la montaña es ir adentrándote en el mundo de lo inmortal, rodeado de jeroglíficos y mensajes ocultos que parece que quieren desvelarte sus más importantes secretos guardados durante más de 3.000 años, mientras te sube la adrenalina y empiezas a inquietarte por todas esas maldiciones que se supone que perseguían a aquellos que en el pasado lograban descubrir las tumbas. El Santuario de Machu Picchu es una ciudad inca situada en lo alto de una montaña edificada con grandes bloques de piedra unidas entre sí únicamente mediante amalgama. Todavía hoy los arqueólogos intentan descubrir el misterio de su existencia y tanto su espectacularidad como su valor histórico le convirtieron en 2007 en una de las 7 Maravillas del Mundo. 5. Lhassa, Tibet
Conocida como “La Tierra de los Dioses“, Lhasa fue en el pasado una ciudad prohibida e inaccesible sin ningún contacto con la modernización en la que habitaban únicamente los tibetanos nativos. Tras el golpe de estado del Gobierno Chino en 1950, la ciudad fue ocupada por el Ejército Rojo y no fue hasta 1980 cuando pudo abrirse al mundo y a las visitas de turistas internacionales. En Lhasa destacan el Palacio de Potala, con sus 13 pisos, residencia de invierno del Dalai Lama, y el Templo de Jokhang, el centro espiritual del Tíbet y un importante lugar de peregrinaje de los budistas. Para la mayoría de los tibetanos, este lugar es el templo más sagrado en el Tíbet. El lugar, rodeado por las Montañas del Himalaya y a una altura de más de 3.600m sobre el nivel del mar, simplemente te deja sin respiración en todos los sentidos. Sometimes we need to stop a bit, slow down the pace and simply observe what happens inside us. I must admit that this introspection costs me a bit on a day to day basis, but nevertheless it is something that comes naturally and spontaneously when I travel, in front of a landscape for example. I stop at the sensations that it produces me, in a state of calm and well-being in which suddenly an invisible flow connects you with nature, the world and its energy.
There are certain places in the world that encourage self-reflection and mysticism … some for no history, others for their religious connotations, and others simply for their serene beauty, but all radiate an invisible and magnetic enigmatic energy leaving an internal trace in the visitor forever.
