Entramos en el último mes del año!! Así como quien no quiere la cosa y tras muchos meses de calor, parece que el Invierno por fin hace acto de presencia y ya apetece disfrutar de las mantas, las chimeneas y la nieve… todavía mas si estamos en un hotel perdido y remoto del planeta en el que rodearnos de paisajes y montañas nevadas disfrutando del paisaje con un café o chocolate humeante entre las manos. Y es que cada vez son más los alojamientos que apuestan por ofrecer una experiencia cálida, acogedora y reconfortante a sus clientes en lugares donde las temperaturas habituales cuesta que superen los cero grados… algunos de ellos auténticos templos de lujo y bienestar. Siete paraísos Invernales para disfrutar del frío 

 

1. Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel, Alta (Noruega)

El Sorrisniva Igloo es un hotel boutique nuevo cada año, ya que se construye desde cero en hielo y nieve. Sus 30 habitaciones cuentan con cálidos colchones de piel de reno y sacos de dormir, y la temperatura en el interior se mantiene constante entre los -4 y -7 grados!! Pero no os preocupéis, el establecimiento asegura que al dormir se mantiene la estabilidad térmica hasta 30 grados bajo cero y además pone a disposición de sus clientes todo tipo comodidades: sauna, cálidas bañeras de hidromasaje al aire libre y dos acogedores restaurantes, además de un bar del hielo al que tendréis que ir bien abrigados. El precio por noche es de unos 450€.

 

 

2. Kaskalauttanen Artic Resort, Saariselkä Fell (Finlandia)

Si soñáis con un hotel de fantasía desde el cual poder ver las increíbles auroras boreales, el Hotel Kaskalauttanen es uno de esos lugares en el que poder hacer realidad vuestros deseos. Los clientes pueden elegir entre alojarse en sus característicos igloos de cristal (algunos de ellos hasta con sauna) o en cabañas tradicionales de madera con cocina, sala de estar y chimenea.  En este hotel se encuentra la sauna de humo más grande del Mundo y se organizan “safaris“ con renos y huskies para vivir a tope la experiencia de la Laponia finlandesa. Precios desde 460€.

 

 

3. Arctic Tree Hotel, Rovaniemi (Laponia)

En pleno Círculo Polar Ártico y con un estilo muy moderno y lujoso, este hotel ofrece increíbles vistas de la zona a través de los gran ventanales de sus habitaciones y se encuentra a solo 2 kms. de la aldea de Santa Claus (SantaPark), donde caminaréis entre renos, o a 5,7 kms. de Rovaniemi. El alojamiento es excepcional y todas sus suites de estilo nórdico tienen baño privado. El precio de la habitación comienza en los 500€.

 

 

4. Hotel de Glace, Quebec (Canadá)

Este hotel de hielo abre todos los Inviernos, de Enero a Marzo, y está totalmente construido en hielo y nieve. Solo entrando a su majestuoso vestíbulo con columnas talladas de hielo podemos entrar en su atmósfera única, en la que las heladas paredes se  decoran con cuadros y existen mil opciones para el entretenimiento: desde un cine hasta dos salas de exposiciones. Pasar una noche en sus suites es una experiencia única: cada una de ellas está decorada de manera diferente por distintos artistas y se duerme en un saco de dormir de piel de venado. Y por la mañana, se sirve a los clientes una bebida caliente en su habitación al despertar. Unos 600€ por noche.

 

 

5. ION Luxury Adventure Hotel, Selfoss (Islandia)

Muy cerca del Parque Nacional de Thingvellir y ubicado en los pies de una ladera de una montaña de lava, el ION Luxury Adventure destaca por su increíble piscina al aire libre de agua caliente desde la cual disfrutar del paisaje y de las auroras boreales. Tiene un spa que suele estar incluido en el precio de la habitación y un renombrado restaurante, el Silfra, en el que disfrutar de unos platos maravillosos rodeados del espectacular entorno nevado . Por unos 250€ la noche.

 

6. Ice Hotel, Jukkasjärvi (Suecia)

Otro hotel totalmente construido en hielo y nieve, en este caso en Suecia, que se funde cada primavera y renace de nuevo en Invierno para ofrecer la experiencia única de dormir como si estuviésemos en un iglú (aunque de paredes esculpidas, decoraciones temáticas y algunas habitaciones hasta con calefacción) o tomar algo en su famoso Absolut Ice Bar. También cuenta con un salón muy acogedor en el que tomar bebidas calientes y ofrece packs en los que además de la habitación se incluye sauna, bañera de hidromasaje de leña y baño de hielo. El precio ronda los 125€ por noche.

 

 

7. Engelberg-Titlis Igloo Village, Engelberg (Suiza)

El último hotel “helado“ que cierra nuestra lista es el Igloo Village, un lugar perdido entre las montañas en el que sentirse esquimal por unos días y hacer vida al lado de un lago en plenos Alpes Suizos. Abierto desde Navidad hasta Semana Santa, ofrece siglos tanto para grupos como para parejas (los “romantic igloos“), y permite disfrutar del frío junto a una Fondue de queso, tomando una bebida caliente en su igloo bar o en su jacuzzi escavado en la nieve. Como incentivo adicional, está su cercanía a las pistas de ski de alrededor. Su precio: unos 200€ la noche.

Its 30 rooms have warm reindeer skin mattresses and sleeping bags, and the temperature inside remains constant between -4 and -7 degrees! But do not worry, the establishment ensures that sleeping stays thermal stability up to 30 degrees below zero and also makes available to its customers all kinds of amenities: sauna, hot outdoor whirlpool baths and two cozy restaurants, plus a ice bar to which you will have to go well sheltered.
